Hello Blogosphere.
I know that blogging isn't what it used to be, and I also know that it has been ages since my last post, but I am here!
The last you heard from me I was in the planning process of moving across the country, to a state that I then dreaded: Georgia.
Part of me thinks that people say bad things about the South for the same reason why they say it rains "every day" in Portland. Maybe its just because we settled in Peachtree City, one of the top 100 places to live in the US according to Money magazine, but I am really enjoying myself down here. The weather is nice, the traffic is minimal, the town is so quiet and yet there is stuff to do just 5 minutes away. It was hot in the summer, but right now it is below freezing outside and the high tomorrow is expected to be 39. "Hot-lanta?" Yeah right!
When we first came down here we were thinking of just a few year commitment, but I see us buying a house and settling in for some time. If we are going to move again I don't see it being back to Washington, but to Chicago or even Europe! Unless a little something comes along to make me want to root down for a little while longer..
